Woman of Impact AWARD
The Woman of Impact Award celebrates a standout professional in the costs industry who exemplifies the core values of Women in Costs: Authentic Leadership, Courageous Empowerment, and Empathetic Support.
This award recognises an individual who has made a tangible difference-whether through mentoring, leadership, advocacy, or initiatives that create a more inclusive and supportive industry.
This is not an award about job titles or seniority. Its about who you are, what you stand for, and the difference you make.
The winner will be announced at the annual seminar.
What is the Woman of Impact award?
This award honours a costs specialist who has:
Supported and empowered others
Either within their organisation or the wider industry in a genuine and meaningful way.
eMbodieD the spirit and values of WIC
Examples of embodying WIC values
exhibited authentic leadership
By inspiring those around them and leading with integrity, leading through either formal leadership or quiet influence.
positively impacted
Their firm or the broader costs profession through their work, advocacy, or initatives.
HOW TO APPLY
The application process is open from December to early January. Individuals can nominate themselves or be nominated by others.
To apply, candidates must:

A 1,500-word application detailing how they have demonstrated the WIC values and positively impacted the industry.

This could include testimonials, case studies, or examples of projects or initiatives they have led.

Supporting statements from colleagues, mentees, or industry peers.
